22nd International Symposium
on Brachial Plexus Surgery
19-21 May 2022
We are really glad to host the Narakas Club in 2022! It is a great pleasure and a challenge to organize the meeting in our exciting and ever-changing capital. Springtime is the perfect time to be in Berlin.
Registration is open and you may find all information on our website. The fee includes the congress dinner on Friday. If you woud like to buy an additional ticket for accompanying persons, you may order it in advance on the webpage.
We are working on the program, which will be finished and published end of march, while further modifications are possible.
Although only a few of us met Algimantas Narakas in person, we will do our very best to keep his spirit alive in the tradition of the Narakas Club. Interaction and discussion will fill plenty of time, while the presentations must be well-structured and concise. We would like to raise topics of controversy and discuss them openly. The club meeting aims to build bridges between generations, countries and medical specialities in the field of plexus surgery.
Nevertheless the meeting is influenced by restrictions due to Covid-19 and the war in Europe. After registration you will shortly receive an "ATTENDEE CONFIRMATION", which accounts for your physical presence. In some cases from far abroad this might be helpful to apply for a visa, if necessary.
Please join us at the former Kaiserin-Augusta-Hospital, a historical venue located in the middle of Berlin.
Warm regards
Richarda, Christian and Jörg

The former Kaiserin-Augusta-Hospital was restored and is used now as Karl-Storz Visitor and Training center. Famous surgeons were performing at Kaiserin-Augusta-Hospital, like Emil Heymann, Ernst Küster, and even Fedor Krause, the founder of modern neurosurgery in Germany. The building and interieur show modernisation with respect to history and time. We will be able to visit their restored operation theater. The Venue is in walking distance to central station and can be reached by public traffic easily.
